Live Performances
Solo piano or small group sets that blend jazz improvisation with Jewish melodic and rhythmic language. These performances are spacious, dynamic, and emotionally driven — shaped by each room and audience. Ideal for listening rooms, salons, and cultural venues.
Piano Soundbaths
Immersive, contemplative sound experiences for quiet spaces and intentional gatherings. Less concert performance, more sonic atmosphere — these sessions invite listeners to slow down and take in improvised piano in a more spacious format. Offered in-studio or as part of curated programs.
Private Events
Custom musical offerings for meaningful gatherings — including lifecycle events, artistic rituals, and intimate cultural spaces. Performances are personalized and improvisational, drawing on traditional Jewish themes and original material to create something unique for each moment.

ABOUT DONIEL
I’m Doniel Berry, a pianist and composer working at the intersection of jazz and Jewish musical tradition. My work is shaped by the sounds I grew up with — from the haunting tones of High Holiday melodies to the joy and dissonance of Eastern European folk songs. I blend jazz improvisation with motifs, modes, and rhythms pulled from liturgical chant, nigunim, and centuries of cultural resilience.
Every performance is different — not just improvised, but responsive. To the space. To the people. To the echoes of where we come from.
I’m interested in what it means to make Jewish music today — not only through instrumentation or nostalgia, but through creative process and reinvention.
